I work for a particular insurance company...If you start off saying you'd like to pay monthly, we'll land you with an 8% admin fee*. But that's before anything is actually finalised. So once we go through your quote and get to the payment screen, we'll pop another 8% on there just for good measure.
The trick is to always say you want to see how much it is before you make up your mind. Otherwise we'll rip the arse out of you.
*Admin, my arse. We're not getting as much interest out of your money as possible, so we're going to charge the fuck out of you to make up for it.
