True, she's no Billie Piper or Freema Agyeman (oooooh!), but thankfully she's not trying to be.

Still, the script is dropping heavy hints that she's going to die by the end of the series.

(Edit: If I looked like David Tennant and could travel wherever, whenever the feck I liked I certainly wouldn't be dragging Catherine Tate along with me though)

She never seems to enjoy anything, the just moans and complains.
I didn't mind The Catherine Tate Show. I wasnt a huge fan, but I would watch it, and in some of the characters, you can see a subtlety that would be great, but this goes out the fucking window as soon as she gets near the Tardis. I cant wait for her to die spectacularly.

Have to disagree there
I think she's great - a breath of fresh air after the love sick puppies that went before (not that I disliked Rose or Martha). But CT has brought something new to the mix.

And I haven't really noticed much in the way of moaning either. Being a bit pissed off at certain situations maybe. Moaning about travelling around the universe, nope.

...she's way better than I dared hope. She can act and the lack of romantic chemistry between her and Whatsisname makes for a refreshing change.

Billie Piper was kind of cute, even though she does remind me of Bingo from the Banana Splits (on the left here:). As for the other lass, her voice got on my nerves a tad.

CT can act, if you mean stand open-mouthed looking shocked. A blow-up doll can act pretty well by that mark - er, not that I'd know (ahem!).
This entire series just hasn't done it for me, and CT being in it is just one of the many things in this series that would have fecked any of the previous series.
