My Biggest Disappointment
Often the things we look forward to the most turn out to be a huge let down. As Freddy Woo puts it, "High heels in bed? No fun at all. Porn has a lot to answer for."
Well, Freddy, you are supposed to get someone else to wear them.
What's disappointed you lot?

For the F1 fans
I was at the 2005 US Grand Prix in Indianapolis.
All but 6 cars pulled out because of tyre problems. Of the remainder, two were Ferraris and the other four were the guys who usually finish at the back, driving for Minardi and Jordan.
I've never seen Formula 1 fans throwing beer cans onto the track before.

Ooh, that was a bad one...
Stubborness and idiocy at some of it's most public worst. If I remember right, it was Mr. Mosely who was the core of that (again), not letting them put the extra chicane in...

Bit surreal seeing Karthakeyan on the podium.
If only Schuey and Barrichello had taken each other out instead of the near miss...

@BK
We were all cheering at that point. My mate and I were seated looking over turn 1 and saw the near miss at close quarters.
Biggest cheer of the day was when Monteiro stood on the podium to receive his 3rd place trophy. Schumey was booed.
@Fireflier - the worst of it wasn't the fact that Max and co didn't allow the chicane (that would have been a bit unfair on the Bridgestone guys, to be honest, but the fans would have preferred it), but that we at the track knew absolutely nothing of what was going on.
Nothing was said over the PA regarding any problems. The build up was apparently proceeding as normal
I then started getting texts from friend back home, wondering what the problem was. I had no idea what was happening so they told me what they had heard from the television, and I was relaying this information to the people around me in the stand.
I did get my money back, plus two extra free tickets for the following year's race, but it wasn't quite the same!

Blatant stereotyping, but what the hey...
Are you sure it wasn't just confused American fans who were upset by the cars having to make both left *and* right turns on a racetrack?
