Down on the Farm
Have you ever been chased from a field by a shotgun-wielding maniac? Ever removed city arseholes from your field whilst innocently carrying a shotgun? Tell us your farm stories.

Ugly
It looks awful on the landscape. The violent yellow looks as bad as graffiti and so out of place. Maybe if there were a mix of other colours out there, it would not be so bad. But the yellow just looks out of place to me.
Was walking on the South Downs at the weekend. Near the Brighton Football Stadium that had all the locals complaining about how it would look bad in a national park. Personally I found the stadium looked graceful in the landscape... but the horrid looking yellow fields near it looked far worse.

rape isn't funny
in fact, i was at a comedy gig a while back and this guy used '...and then i raped her' as a punchline. I was so offended I pulled him up on it off stage.
I said to him, 'excuse me mate, but I don't think you should be using that kind of material in your act. It's offensive and demeaning to women, for all you know there could be victims of sexual abuse in your audience who may not take those kind of comments in the way you intended.'
He got really pissed off with that, came at me right in my face, shouting and pointing 'FUCK YOU MAN, IT'S MY ACT, I CAN DO OR SAY WHAT EVER I LIKE, AND IF I WANT TO FINISH A JOKE THAT WAY I FUCKING WELL WILL.'
he turned to angrily stomp off ...and then i raped him

Honey...
Eat lots of local honey. That helps the body get used to it. Use rapeseed oil in cooking.
I used to be horrendously allergic to the stuff. Couldn't even drive past a field without ending up streaming in allergic tears. Had to drive with anti-histamine tablets always to hand.
The good news is, 10 years later and I am fine. Can stand in a field now without trouble. So the allergy will go away.

I've heard the honey thing, too.
I suspect it's an old wive's tale, but I like honey, so have been trying it anyway. The oil is a staple in my cooking, so that's neither here nor there.
My top tip for hayfever sufferers, is to find an anti-histamine that works for you, and keep yourself dosed up from the first hint of spring

I just sneeze for a while
and then it passes. Fun to tell people you're sneezing because of the rape though...
