This is a question Drunk Parents

Watching the old man swing home from the pub and start arguing with Newsnight can be either funny, slightly unnerving or just plain terrifying. Tell us about daft things parents have done while they've been in their cups.

When my parents go out, one of them always drives
This means the other one doesn't drink too much, as they hate looking foolish to one another. Then they come home at 12 latest and go to bed and sleep.

The end

cathaholics annonumous
have you tried talking to them about there addiction and being cathaholics?
there are several help groups that will be able to assist you in aleiveating this family destroying habit alternatively, i find that an average dose of rohipnol* is usually enough to do the trick , maybe you could try and slip some in to the communion wine , i also find the addition of a little lsd in to the holy communion wafers goes along way to reduce the stress and embarrassment caused by being a raging cathaholic.**
please be strong for them and if you follow my adice you will be a happy well balanced family again

*side effects include short terms of imprisonment
**it is well known and documented that taking to many communion wafers with your lsd can cause explosive diarrhea if in any doubt about the quantity to use simply double the original estimate and add 175% more this will cover all situations
i hope that this will gie you the strength to carry on

At least they sound like proper Catholics.
I hate those ones that behave is if their church doesn't want them to be fearful all the time.

I feel your pain.
This is the most tragic thing I have ever read.

Stay strong, and learn from their mistakes.

I would also like to add my pompous and self-satisfied sympathy post here.
And I may even be as crass as to include a link to a helpline or website.

My mother was gluten-intolerant.
She'd have some Hovis at the cafe, then come home legless and murder us all, every Friday night.

Fuck you, you hateful man.

You almost certainly deserved it.
It wouldn't surprise me if you turned out to be a gypsy or a Jew.
