I'm having truffles for lunch.
We planted a fuckload of truffle oaks and I reckoned it was a dodgy pyramid scheme but turns out we now have truffles. I've got egg on my face and no mistake. Lovely truffly egg.

or it could be that these came out of the ground fifty yards away and cost nowt.

That reminds me... has anyone yet tried out the Waitrose Essentials Truffle Oil?
I do mostly love their Essentials range, but the Kobe Beef wasn't of the standard I had come to expect.

I invested in a truffle tree
in France. It has born no truffles. Someone is living it up at my expense. I always wondered if planting those truffle-infused trees gives you some truffles eventually, but I don't have acres of land to plant them on.
