Wrong idea
This isn't some kind of court hearing demanding reliable, first hand witnesses (otherwise Legless would be in contempt by now). The point is to entertain - if people want to tell 'not me' stories so be it...

Quite frankly
I couldn't care less whether QOTW answers happened to the person posting them, are true or even adhere strictly to the topic as long as they're funny.

Isn't that the point? Sure, truth and relevance are nice, but I'm sure I've laughed at plenty of absolute bullshit on here over the years, and I'm sure I'm not alone in having done so.
