I bought a new contact lens cleaning system. I didn't read the instruction properly, and forgot to put a sanitising tablet into the mixture.

I just put undiluted hydrogen peroxide into my eye, and now my eye is bloodshot and sore.

My eye stung all day; but it wasn't anything compared to how my eye reacted to having put it in - squinting until my face looked like i'd been sucking lemons!

I've done that too...
Fastest removal of a contact lens and sprint to the bathroom to splash lots of cold water in my eye EVER.

And it was bloodshot and sore for about 3 days afterwards. Better now though.
