Counting Gollies.
I was the bloke who counted the Robertson's gollies you lot sent in to get your free badges or whatever.
No I didn't. I just approved every application, enough gollies or not.
I got a bonus for being brilliant and getting through the most applications.

Excellent
I always wondered who did those sorts of things, and whether they actually bothered to count them.

I'm interested to know though:
-Did the company specify that you had to check there were enough (e.g. 50)?
-Did they specify a tolerance level (i.e. they would let it go if you had 49/48/47 etc)
-Did many people try being cheeky and sendig 40 in or whatever?

Whenever I wanted anything from any of these companies
I used to write to them and say "I sent it over 28 days ago and its still not arrived"

They would always send me them item, I got every freebee off the back of weetabix this way.

Thanks!
Well, if not to you, then thanks to someone like you, I have a rather nice Guinness fleece.

(I was one ringpull short, but I sent in the application anyway. I did drink the Guinness, but lost the ringpull, so I don't feel guilty.)
