Narrow Escapes
IHateSprouts tells us they once avoided getting caught up in an IRA bomb attack by missing a train. Tell us how you've dodged the Grim Reaper, or simply avoided a bit of trouble.

Every time I take a step
I narrowly escape face planting on to the floor.
The unconcious skill required just to walk is phenomenal, ask anyone who's had damange to their spinal cord and have to relearn how to walk just how hard it is.
Amazing how we take something like walking for granted.

I work with people with balance and mobility problems
and yup, just walking seems like a fantastic privilege sometimes.
Hang in there! It'll come!

I should mention
that I don't have any walking issues in case my post comes across like that.
Except for my usual lack of coordination which has me tripping over my own feet on a regular basis.

HAHA!
No your first post didn't come across like that at all ;) It's good you posted this now and not after the 50 sympathy posts that would have inevitably and rightly been posted.
Edit- Oh i get it now you narrowly avoided getting sympathy.
