This is a question Pointless Experiments

Pavlov's Frog writes: I once spent 20 minutes with my eyes closed to see what it was like being blind. I smashed my knee on the kitchen cupboard, and decided I'd be better off deaf as you can still watch television.

I tend to enjoy electric shocks myself.
Three examples:

I once put one of those current transformers in my mouth, to see what happened. I lost my taste for an hour, and got a tingly sensation.

A few years ago, I found out that if I lick the lock part of my laptop, it tingles, so I electrocuted myself a few times doing this.

And a year or so ago, I wondered "What happens if I touch the glowing part in the toaster with this knife." I electrocuted myself a bit, and thankfully the toaster was under warranty.

Oh, and one point I made an electromagnet using the mains electricity. I was trying to find a way to tidy up some wires, so I wrapped them around the metal thing holding the tv up, I'd wrapped several wires around the same metal thing, in the same direction. When I turned it on, and touched it, it made me feel a bit high and rather nauseous. So now we have a stick of wood in the kitchen, with several wires wrapped around it.

No.
You're fantastic, but...
*twitches*
Are you a zombie?
You're not, you're a lovely b3ta-folk.

Thus you like "electric shocks".
Electrocution is "death from electricity".

Title amended =)
The only electric shocks I don't like, is when I'm concentrating and then my laptop shocks me, with electricity, in a non-lethal way. The arm hairs touch the microphone port and this gives me a shock.

I'm thinking there should be some sort of health and safety thing against this. It's just mildly annoying when I'm reading something and my arm suddenly jumps.

*grins*
Your laptop electrocutes you?

I'm sorry...

I think I'll stick to making minestrone for the moment.
It's non-lethal and contains bacons and yummy.

Haha!
It's just one of those things that tweaks my buttons...

I'm ok now.

shox
when i was about 7 or 8 i decided to try and fix my bedside lamp which seemed to have a loose wire. After several attempts at putting the plug on properly and failing i got tired of putting the casing back on the plug each time and decided to try without the back on the plug. WHen i pushed the plug into the socket the earth pin went in fine but the 2 smaller pins both just pushed up from the casing. So I put a thumb on each and pushed them home. Needless to say I havent tried that again since, and I didn't tell my mum.
