This is a question Pointless Experiments

Pavlov's Frog writes: I once spent 20 minutes with my eyes closed to see what it was like being blind. I smashed my knee on the kitchen cupboard, and decided I'd be better off deaf as you can still watch television.

One quick one.
This is a speciality of my brother.

When driving along an empty motorway and encountering a member of the middle lane owners club, how many anti-clockwise circuits (where you pull out two lanes, overtake, pop in two lanes and allow yourself to be overtaken before repeating) can you perform before the car moves in?

On one extraordinary occasion- 22.

I like that
I'll be trying that next time I'm on the Motorway.

lol awesome.
Damnit, we have very few 3 lane motorways here to try this out :(

Some people
Some people just don't learn do they?

Every time I see one of the MLOC I have an agonising couple of seconds to decide if it's better to drive past on the inside or pull in in front of them. I wish they'd stop being so lazy and just move left like the code says.

(BTW - I agree in certain circumstances it's ok to stay in the middle lane.)

Now
Why the fuck didn't you post that earlier? It would have been a sure-fire winner.

This sounds like so much fun. A way to break the tedium of long distances.

Cheers

@Legless
Well it isn't really "my" pointless experiment and because my battered old brain wasn't able to recall it until now. Never mind.

It's
a bastard when you suddenly remember a decent story just before the end of QOTW.

But I still love this "experiment" and look forward to making the missus do it at the next chance

I'd do it myself but I don't drive. Never have, hopefully, never will.

Mind, this tactic will lose something, here in Oz.

Good on you- the world needs more non drivers
Today is my last day in my job that required me to drive 80 miles a day. On monday I start one that requires me to drive 12. I've bloody well had enough of driving to be honest.
