I can handle
Nemisis, I can handle the corkscrew, rita, 13, infact pretty much any ride.

I love them, the adreniline rush is amazing.

However, I cannot handle Hex.

THats right, the ride which simply rolls slightly from side to side.

The only ride ive come off nearly barfing at the exit.

God
I hated Hex. Not due to the nausea but mainly due to the fact that I queued up for ages and left pretty unimpressed.

I was amused about the people shrieking because they thought they'd fall out
despite all the evidence to the contrary

Yup
The time I went on the tourist couple next to me were grabbing onto the handles of their camera bag and screaming about losing their expensive camera equipment....while the bag was firmly sat the floor next to them.

The look on my dad's face when the lap bar came down
made me feel rather guilty for taking him on there. He'd treated me and both my older sprogs to the day out but insisted he wouldn't go on any of the "thrill" rides - just seeing the grandkids enjoying themselves would make the day worthwhile for him.

Even though it doesn't really "go" anywhere it still left the old boy feeling rather unsettled. Both the girls screamed non-stop, whilst i spent the duration dangling my camera from its wrist strap to prove to all of them how little we were actually being tilted.
