I loved that film
Came across it totally accidently as well, flicking through the channels one morning. Not sure what it was I liked about it, but like it I did.

Plus it features the legendary CatBus, which is awesome.

theres a short film called mei and the kittenbus in the studio ghibli museum!

i just discovered this on good old wikipedia (and then checked other sources just to be sure :) ) and now i dont know if to jump up and down, or cry because i'll probably never see it.
