First World Problems
Onemunki says: We live in a world of genuine tragedy, starvation and terror. So, after hearing stories of cruise line passengers complaining at the air conditioning breaking down, what stories of sheer single-minded self-pity get your goat?

Sharing a room for a week can be fucking annoying. I know I'd rather spend a week in a single room in Bradford than sharing in Tuscany.
Of course, she's lucky she doesn't have to share a room with her whole family all the time, but I think the location where she's sharing is largely irrelevant to how annoying sharing is.

I shared a room with either my brother or my foster sister until I was 13
And often share with my friends now... I know you can get used to having your own room, but seriously, it's not that annoying to share. Especially in a holiday, where the whole point is novelty. I agree that if (as Spangle said) there were a huge amount of other issues, it might be understandable.

I was overstating it a little.
However, I don't even think it's about being used to having your own room -- it's the fact you're never alone for the entire week.
Having no privacy at all, especially as a teen, can be extremely hard to deal with. Whilst the young girl in question is without doubt priveledged I don't think that has as much bearing on things as suggested in the original post.
I was kidding a little about Bradford but in my teens I know I certainly would have preferred that.
