This is a question Getting Old

Drimble asks: When was it last brought home to you just how old you're getting? We last asked this in 2004, and you're eight years older now. Eight. Years.

Indeed.
I was a right little raver in my youth.I spent nearly every weekend in the early 90's jumping around in fields, woods and barns, and still love the music. Hardcore, house, techno, drum 'n base I love it all, but when my mates teenage daughter bangs a bit of dubstep on the stereo, I know what my dad was on about when he used to talk about my music.

The Beatles, then hair metal, then happy hardcore, then dubstep.
I dread to think what it'll be in ten year's time.

I don't mind the 'wob-wob-wob' but the 'iiiiiigghhhh' bits are a bit grating.

Dubstep in 2007 - 2008 was alright
Benga, skream and that, had this grimey eerie sound.
Skrillex is considered 'brostep', as its lost the 'dub', alot of what people call 'dubstep' is actually 'brostep'
It sounds like transformers fucking.
