Turning into your parents
Unable to hold back the genetic tide, I find myself gardening in my carpet slippers, asking for a knife and fork in McDonalds and agreeing with the Daily Telegraph. I'm beyond help - what about you?
Thanks to b3th for the suggestion

Crossing the rubicon
I, at the age of 33, can no longer get excited about the current state of music.
There, I've said it.
I can't pin-point exactly when I stopped caring, but it only happened recently; 12 months ago I was fine. I'm hoping to god it's all the re-hashed 80s stuff that's leaving me so meh, but what if it isn't? What if it's my age?
*sobs*

I understand.
I am also 33 and apparently I am supposed to feel alarmed that I have no opinion on Arcade Fire.

Oh balls
Was about to claim my relativistic superiority and report that I not only have an opinion on Arcade Fire but that I also own a CD too
But then I realised owning a cd is now probably a fair indicator I'm a sad old fuck
Cock it

...and unsure of what’s occurring in the charts. I spend most of my time praying older bands will reform or release new albums... booo!

But I haven't cared for popular, new, indie or otherwise recent music since a brief period between 12 and 15. I couldn't tell you the name of any songs from recent artists, and the only way I know the names of any recent artists is from other people forcing them upon me.

...its all shite. Haven't listened to the radio in six years.
That said, I LOVE music, am in a band, and still up to scratch on my bands. Newer isn't always better :)
