Walk this way..I like people to walk on my left hand side. If there is a group of us and so long as one person is on that side, it's ok.
It's my one mental thing.

I've known a couple of people like thisand it is incredibly annoying as I am deaf in my right ear, so I have to walk on someones right to be able to hear them.

There is apparently a cultural norm for which side people walk on when passing each otherI think in America, it's on the left (opposite to driving side). In big cities, I think it gets repressed. I think it's either on the right (or on your left as you prefer) in Britain or either.
So you're not all that odd.
