This is a question Bizarre habits

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "Until I pointed it out, my other half use to hang out the washing making sure that both pegs were the same colour. Now she goes out of her way to make sure they never match." Tell us about bizarre rituals, habits and OCD-like behaviour.

I have that weird and common symmetry thing
where if I touch something with one hand, I must touch it with the other and I have to touch it the same amount of times. Also, it seems I have it when it comes to tattoos and piercings. Any piercings I have are central (tongue and lip) or on my left side (nose, nipple) and my tattoo is on my left side too. I explain to people that it balances me out because I'm right handed. They usually just give me a weird look and go 'erm yeah okay then'.

now you have drawn my attention to it
I do the balancing out thing as well

I only ever wear a watch or bracelety things on my left wrist. The tattoo I've been considering for some time has never been considered for any place on the right hand side of my body.

That might not sound similar, but my brain is working in the same way. Things like that have to be central or on the left.

It can get worse.
If I touch something with one hand or foot, I have to touch it with the other hand or foot twice, then the first once again or I'll be feeling left unbalanced (flow left to right, then right to left). If I am especially tired, this will have to be done multiple times, constructing elaborate patterns of flows until I feel balanced again (LRRL RLLR RLLR LRRL and so on ad nauseum).

Sister has that.
I annoy her beyond belief because my tattoos are mostly all on the right hand side.

Errr... so how do you use a computer mouse? Do you have a second one for your left hand?
