power cutwe experienced a power cut at work recently. The server room is on our floor and the air cooling system in the server room wasnt linked to the same backup power supply as the servers are. this led a team of IT monkeys running up 5 flights of stairs (they used to be up on our floor but moved for whatever reason) to open the doors and windows and then commandeering every fan in the building. while we got to go to the pub.
