IT Support
Our IT support guy has been in the job since 1979, and never misses an opportunity to pick up a mouse and say "Hello computer" into it, Star Trek-style. Tell us your tales from the IT support cupboard, either from within or without.

Final one that I can think of...
I've mentioned elsewhere on this QotW that our IT helpdesk is staffed by idiots with no IT skills...
They put a call through to me the other day with the description:
Please call Maria on extension 1234, she needs some help putting a CD onto PowerPoint
Putting a CD onto... eh?

Haha, it boggles the mind doesn't it?
The finance director had just sent an email round asking about ways of saving money, and I sent him a link to the call, with a note saying that "putting a CD onto PowerPoint is a bit like watching a film on a microwave" :)
I was quite proud of myself for that - he never replied though.

That reminds me of a conversation I overherd a few months back
"Can you have a look at this document for us and tart it up a bit?"
"Yeah, sure. What did you do it in?"
"In my laptop"
