There is also the option of everyone who does not want to post a story...
but a complaint taking their negative attitude elsewhere by not reading the bad posts. It's easy. Just close your eyes or go away.

Try to find *any* employment sector that doesn't have some frustrated workers, tales of difficult employees, underwhelming bosses, and whatnot.

Should everybody get a different job? Or should it just be a given that work is not always pleasant, and when asked, some people may rant a bit?

And the point of a large number of these posts - IT bods are consistenyl asked to do stuff that is quite blantantly *not* their job. We are not teachers, trainers, secretaries, typists, or a million other things we're routinely expected to do. It's not even that we won't have a good go at these things - we may just genuinely not be very good at it.

I was going to write a reasoned response....
...outlining why a bit of exaggeration for comic effect was probably applied to many of these stories, or that most tales here are based on actual funny stories rather than just having a pop at the technically inept.
