it really pisses me off.
middle-aged women tend to be the worst in my experience, and the least deserving of the respect that they think they are due.

You wait where the door will be when the train arrives. Some old bint then tries to push past you to get to the door first.
Now I take it that if you push me, the rules are I can push back. So I do. Just enough to prevent them jumping in front of me.
They usually complain about "Haven't you heard of ladies first?", which I love, as I can use the "It only applies to ladies" reply.
Chaps do it as well, but generally don't complain and take a rebuttal much better then women.
