I think that they are relying on having actual conversations with actual people, and going back to old fashioned personalised emails to keep in touch with people.

Whats worse is people who use pictures from 10 years ago because they wont admit they are old and fat!

Worse than that is when they used a photo of their half naked toddler as their msn messenger pic so every time they login it pops up and makes you look like a nonce to anyone that happens to be ambling by.
