Keyboard manufacturers
Who put the windows key right next to the shift / CTRL / ALT key, which means whenever you're trying to play a game you end up tapping that button by mistake, you end up on the main windows screen, inevitably causing mayhem as you fumble to regain control of your computer game, only to log back in to find your character is dead and so is your party that you were supposed to be healing.

I have since removed the windows key with the sharp end of a dart.

and in some cases
screws up the disply so that the game only appears in a part of the screen or not at all.

It should be located in a safe position on the keyboard
And not near some of the most-clicked buttons.

My old keyboard
had a 'Sleep mode' key right next to the Escape key. Worst placement ever.

older, pre win95 keyboards didn't have this problem at all
AND they used to make a satisfying "click" sound when you typed...really sounded like you were getting some good work done...not like this shitting MS one I'm using now, just dull fuds....fud fud fud fud fud all you can hear in my office all day long...

Crap keyboards
Keyboards these days suck. I was in PC World the other day and all they had were the laptop-esque ones or the cheepo rubber mat on a membrane variety. The days of individual switches are long gone. It's ironic, looking back, at all the flack that Sinclair took over the keyboards on their machines because most of them these days are made like the ones on QL/Spectrum+.

I'll just stick with my trusty old IBM keyboard (which thankfully does not have any of Microsoft's silly additional keys).

they put the function key where the control key is meant to be (at least they do on the lenovo stuff now)

but you can disable it quite easily without mutilating your stuff.

Yes... Raiding in Vanilla WoW as my Warlock was a real trial on the old computer. 40 people and boss/adds = lots of slowdown.

God forbid that I accidently click the Windows button, would take up to 20 seconds to reload and when I do reload? Most often this would happen:
