This is a question Irrational Hatred

People who say "less" when they mean "fewer" ought to be turned into soup, the soup fed to baboons and the baboons fired into an active volcano. What has you grinding your teeth with rage, and why?

More grammar
There seems to be a lot of grammar related rage on here. One that bugs me is when people write 'draw' instead of 'drawer' e.g. 'Have you seen the safe key?','It's in my top draw'. Also, drivers not indicating on roundabouts, it drives me nuts.

Oh, well. Since you mentioned grammar pedantry...
The error you highlight is one of spelling, not grammar. The second sentence, though, does contain a massive grammatical howler, inasmuch as that it seems to have two subjects.

Welcome, etc.

EDIT: OK, it might be a syntactic problem rather than a grammatical one. Harumph. Meh.

The first time I heard someone call it a "draw"
I sympathised with the poor slow witted soul, she obvioulsy didn't know any better. Since I now realise that it was an active choice and many people do the same, I tend more to rage than sympathy.

YES! This!
Draw-ER. Finish the word, damn it!

I very much like it when people call knickers, kegs, shreddies or grundies "drawers"
I don't know why
