there was a one-trick pony, it's the fat fuck that is Peter Kay. His show consisted of 90mins of

"'member? 'member when Starburst were called Opal Fruits? 'member Bullseye? Sunday teatime, Jim bowen eh? 'member?"

Is he still touring? Doing more shows? No, he's ran out of things to ask if we remember them.

I sincerely hope that this website www.doyouremember.co.uk/ is a dig at his act.

The problem I always had with him
Was from his first channel 4 show "That Peter Kay Thing" they picked up on what I thought was the weakest vignette in Phoenix Nights... The one with him flogging porn from the back of an ice cream van was great

It may have been the weakest sketch
But it turned into the best thing Kay ever did. Largely on account of Dave Spikey and Neil Fitzmaurice wrote most of the good stuff in it.

qv Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere, written by Kay & McGuinness, which was about as funny as arse cancer.
