This is a question Karma

Sue Denham writes, "I once slipped out of work two hours early without the boss noticing. In my hurry to make the most of this petty victory, I knocked myself out on the car door and spent the rest of the day semi-conscious, bowking rich brown vomit over my one and only suit."

Have you been visited by the forces of Karma, or watched it happen to other people?

Thanks to Pooflake for the suggestion

Oh, hang on - wait, yes, it's definitely an idea...
...and it's a blinder - can't wait to try it out. Fits in the scope of this QOTW by a gnat's knacker too :)

I don't use the tram in Manchester much these days, preferring my bike because it's quicker, better for me and a lot more fun. But sometimes circumstances prevent it and my pet hate on the trams is still ignorant twats (mostly chavs, of course) playing some charty pop shite on their phones at top volume without headphones. Check through my previous post in the worst journey QOTW.

I've been thinking about this just now whilst I'm shopping to replace my sadly-dead travel speakers and the one I'm looking at isn't just travel-able, it's handheld - pocket-sized, even.

So one day soon, some unsuspecting pillock is going to have his/her listening pleasure quite cripplingly disrupted by the theme tune to The Magic Roundabout on an endless loop at a volume that totally blows their pissy phone speaker away. Looking around, they'll find no obvious source for the sound but instead some not-really-tiny bloke grinning manically at them, having to shout above the music to say to them, 'ANNOYING, ISN'T IT?'

Look out Manchester - the MP3 vigilante is coming ;)

MP3 vigilante
Yep, so many deserve this kind of retribution. What is the unit you're looking at?

Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it!
See above :)

I've done similar things.
Ever come up to a traffic light and found that the car next to you is blasting bass and thug rap is blaring out the speakers, and the driver is a skinny little white kids from the suburbs who's never lived in a ghetto?

I keep a CD of Irish jigs on hand for just such occasions, and blast them out with fiddle and pennywhistle. Either that or PJ Harvey's "4 Track Demos"- when she starts howling, you should see their faces!

I do the same...
.. with the lacrimosa from Mozart's Requiem, just because I suspect that it may bother them more.

more scary music...
my l'il bro made a CD of MP3's of classic TV tunes, which we put on in the car, (I had a little purple ford ka at the time) wound the windows down and turned it up full as we drove round all the chav cruising areas, the look on their faces as the Pddongton peas theme tune blasted out will live with me forever. i also own a very scary drum and bass and bagpipes CD which I keep in the car in case of emergency!

In response to...
...lordy(x2) here and one other who GAZzed me, the model in question is the Logitech MM28 flat panel NXT affair. Small, decent sound that doesn't turn into farty noises at more than half-volume and good battery life, according to the reviews. Perfect for my needs ;)

I endorse this behaviour!
And demand that it is filmed and then put on YouTube!

*clicky*

Yes
Do this!

I have a version of 'Kung Fu Fighting' sung in Finnish that is every bit as awesomely surreal as you might think but it is sadly on vinyl and I have yet to acquire the means to make it digital. When I do, though. . .oh, it will be beautiful.

This is teh best idea evar!
I don't use the tram in Manchester much, but if I do, I'll be keeping an ear out :D

Lord Monkey - I just pissed myself thinking about the Poddington Peas theme being blasted out of a car :D I have a CD of shitty synth Xmas tunes the Mrs bought from a cheap store in my car, and a few years ago sometime in June, stuck solid on the M5 due to a hay truck on fire, many people saw (and heard) myself and a friend belting out Christmas classics in one of the rare hot summers days. Funs!
