Same Salesman.
.
Knocks on the next house and the door is opened by a 6 year girl.

"Is your mummy in? asks the salesman...

No... She's at the police station

"Then is your daddy in?"

He's in the helicopter

"How about older brothers or sisters?"

They're all on the moors

"This is terrible. Leaving you alone like this. What are they all doing?"

Looking for me...

What are the chances
that the same salesmen would be caught up in two such amusing situations in such a short space of time.

It's
The way I tell 'em.

It would be fairly simple to put together an entire 30 minute sketch with a salesman walking down a street, knocking on doors and, at each door, an old joke.
