Are you objecting to the word colored ? He was not white nor was he black same skin tone as my lass actually who has Indian heritage, best described as colored. Not half cast as the dutch use or worse the N word. Oh and do not get me started on Zwarte Pete ! As for judging people by looks well if dress up as as Skin head or a Hells Angel or put on any uniform you are trying say something about your self ! So unless you were trying to wind me up you sir/madam are a prat.

Saying someone is coloured isn't particularly racist, just lazy and misleading.
I'm coloured. That colour, using Standard Dulux Definitions, is somewhere between eggshell and off-white. You wouldn't call me coloured though, because that's used by lazy people to describe the skin tone of mixed race/black folk.
