This is a question Losing it

Bluehamster tells us: "This morning I found myself filling my mug not a teabag, but with Shreddies." Tell us of the times when you've convinced yourself that you're losing your marbles.

Came back after a weekend visiting the folks and the flat was ROASTING HOT.

I'd left the oven on. For the entire weekend.

I've done this
in the middle of summer too.

At least you didn't then open the fridge door to cool the place down.

Oh God
How scary. I am terrified of leaving the oven on. I feel if there's a slightest chance that I have then the place is going to burn down and people will die. This often means being in bed wondering and then finally swearing before I get up and trudge all the way to the kitchen to make sure it's off AND leaving the house, walking out wondering and then finally swearing before I turn around and walk back. I've never left the oven on. I always check before I leave the kitchen so I KNOW I've never left it on. The possibility freaks me out because I am convinced that if I do then everything will burn. Something about me being a retard.
