This is a question Losing it

Bluehamster tells us: "This morning I found myself filling my mug not a teabag, but with Shreddies." Tell us of the times when you've convinced yourself that you're losing your marbles.

Cycling to work I always felt like I had forgotten something.
Keys? pat pocket: check
Wallet? pat other pocket: check
Watch? shake left arm: check
Bag? wiggle back a bit: check
Shirt? Pat chest: check

3 of those things I have left home without, one I can't leave home without and the other - why would I need to check that?

So your story is 'sometimes I forget to pick stuff up'?

No, I think it's more along the lines of getting paranoid about having everything you need when you leave the house. Psychologists often call this "key paranoia" although the pheomenon can extend to lighters, phones and other objects. Of course, you need to actually leave the house for this to be an issue...

so josef fritzlzlzlzl was suffering from
key paranoia as was mr and mrs west?

Possibly, but they were also total psychotic fuckers, which is another issue, although one can obviously lead to the other. Just this morning I fretted about having my house keys, while tomorrow I envisage going on a savage rampage with a bucket of fake plastic ducks.

That's right, we will make them pay for what they may or may not have done! perhaps. Apologies for, lack of relevance, I'm ultra bored.

yup that's it
And now I have a phrase I can use to justify my behaviour
(, Fri 22 Jul 2011, 12:17, closed)
i'm always worried
that my backpack has opened up and my stuff is flying out as i go. Hope this created a new paranoia for you.
