Why I Love/Hate Britain
This week's been all about the Daily Mail and why people love or hate their country. Tell us one thing you hate about Britain, and one thing about why you love it.
This shouldn't be an excuse for RACISTLOLS, or long lists of things you dislike. Be intelligent, be funny, and be interesting

probably drinking way too much actually
...but every single beer just tastes like sludge to me from the Abbot ale to the Flowers, the Old Peculiar, the Boddies, Hobgoblin, etc etc. Its all foul smelling, often cloudy and is often warm.......

they shouldn't be cloudy, never mind foul-smelling
if you've been getting them from a pub, the proprietor(s) have probably been storing them in the wrong conditions and/or storing them beyond the end of their shelf life, not realising that they're perishable
I recall one place in central Manchester where this was rife; if you ordered any beer bar Heineken, Stella or something in a bottle you'd get a pint of sour liquid heartburn

First pub I went into in Luton
only served Fosters. Genuinely depressing.
