Why is there no asprin in the Jungle?
Because of the continuing policy of price-fixing cartels within the pharmaceutical industry, making it nigh on impossible for even basic standards of healthcare to operate in the developing world.

This is a true fact, and also a good reason never to gamble there either
as a sophisticated and highly-organised crime ring controls the income and machinations of all activities therein, being sure to capitalise on all profits made using complex threats of violence and extortion.

Canary Wharf isn't in the jungle, and it would be able to fly.
I suggest rather that a suicidal parrot would instead tie weights to its legs and jump into the sea - perhaps off the coast of Borneo or similar.
