I'm shit with phones
Really shit
I've had so many die on me through my own stupid use, ie. dropping, drunkenly accidentally ripping apart, getting run over by cars, going through the wash etc.
cost me a bleeding fortune over time
SO
my amazing and infallible plan is to get this

Don't, it's a waste
Seriously, you'd be better off in the long run just buying a series of £5 handsets - those 'tough' phones are never as durable as you;re lead to believe and when it does give up the ghost, that's £400-odd down the drain.
Even if they honour this so-called 'unconditional' 3 year guarantee, that won't cover you against loss or theft and at the end of the 3 years, you've still spent over £400.
Are you really saying you'd go through more than 80 normal phones in that time?

I didn't go that far...
But I did get one of those naff Nokia rubber-encased phones about 7 or 8 years ago. Whilst boasting to my friends of its indestructible nature, one of them (drunkenly) took this literally, grabbed it out of my hand and launched it across the road.
It bounced, bounced again, and then came to a stop. I went over and retrieved it, and - lo and behold - it still worked.
Smugly, I again boasted that it was truly indestructible, only for the same friend to grab it and throw it again.
It bounced, bounced again, and then came to a stop... and then a bus ran over it. It didn't work after that.
I don't boast about phones anymore.
