This is a question Moving home

"Moving house is one the more stressful moments in life," claims Social Hand Grenade. What horrible things have happened to you as you shift your black bin bag of undies from one hovel to the next?

Years ago, married, hugely pregnant and with a toddler, I was due to move house in a week but decided to ring the removal company to see if they had anything sooner.
They had a space next day, which was great. Unfortunately, I baby-brainedly forgot to inform the other 'alf that we were moving first thing next morning until about 10pm.

Nothing was packed so we hurriedly chucked the essentials into bin bags. The move went ahead with most of our possessions dragged aboard in duvet cases.

I was NEVER allowed to forget that one.

"Remember the time you were heavily pregnant, and had a toddler to look after,
and I decided to let you sort out all the arrangements for our move? Yeah, you're such a fucking pushover. I want a divorce. "

Boy, was your face ever red!
