How nerdy are you?
This week Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons, died. A whole generation of pasty dice-obsessed nerds owes him big time. Me included.
So, in his honour, how nerdy were you? Are you still sunlight-averse? What are the sad little things you do that nobody else understands?
As an example, a B3ta regular who shall remain nameless told us, "I spent an entire school summer holiday getting my BBC Model B computer to produce filthy stories from an extensive database of names, nouns, adjectives, stock phrases and deviant sexual practices. It revolutionised the porn magazine dirty letter writing industry for ever.
Revel in your own nerdiness.

I started with final fantasy seven at the age of fifteen. I know own all of them over various platforms and when a new one comes out. I dont go out until its done. I have missed 18th and 21st birthdays because of this game and have also lost a girl friend. But i dont care its like playing a book!
I also have unhealthy thoughts about Vincent Valentine and Im not even gay!
Just writing this has made me want to go home and start playing on 12 again. Im so saaaaaddd

Hell Yeah!
Final Fantasy 8 is the sole reason I did so bad in my A-levels.
Awesome game though, don't regret a second of it!

Amen!
I was about thirteen when I first played FFVII; lucky for me it was the start of the summer holidays, and my brother bought it home on a whim. He hated it (pft, he's far too thick to understand the gorgeousness of that game) and so I gave it a whack. And LOVED it. Therefore, I spent the majority of my summer playing it into the early hours, starting what would soon become a routine of giving up sleep to play computer games.
Mmm... Vincent Valentine.

Woo.
FFVII. I sadly no longer own the game, but I am currently looking out for a copy.
Ever played Grandia?
