Whilst I had time, I elected to go to the pub before football, rather than walking round the shops and getting tat for people who don't really need anything.
Am I supposed to feel bad about this, as I really don't care?
Have you had a good day?

I have now had two failed xmas shopping trips which just ended up in me getting pissed instead. Everyone will end up with crude macaroni pictures at this rate.

Which is good, because I'm a lazy twat.
I keep spending present money on beer.

met a friend who gave me a Pacman mug with a pattern that appears when it is heated. Also a b3tan sent me chocolate. Mmmm. Also bought myself two Loeb translations

I'm not that arsed about the Loed translations.

I'm going out in a bit, there is a pint with my name on it somewhere, and I am going to find it!
You having a quiet night in with your translastions?
(, Sat 11 Dec 2010, 21:49, Reply)
but I feel restless. Too much chocolate I reckon. Enjoy your pint, reckon you might make it down tomorrow?
(, Sat 11 Dec 2010, 21:52, Reply)
I'm having an utterly degenerate day. Spent most of it in bed and I'm going out gambling this evening when I should really be revising.

?
Profit!
Sat down with £100, left with £120. I was tempted to go over to the other table after mine broke up, but I was feeling a bit tired and wasn't really up for it. Still, it's a good omen if I can play solid, unimaginative poker for not very long and make 20% profit from doing so. I don't need to get creative - just sit there and take advantage of good spots. The game is quite passive too, which means you get plenty of chances to draw at good hands: something that really suits my playing style.

You all play.

I only bought one Christmas present today- some curling tongs for my middle sister
(, Sat 11 Dec 2010, 21:26, Reply)
I'd rather you got to stroke a fake reindeer and covered in live snow.
Fake snow is rubbish.
(, Sat 11 Dec 2010, 21:41, Reply)
Ah but fake reindeer dont snuffle at your hands with big soft velvety lips, or look at you with those big brown doe eyes *melts*
They were friendly and curious and the first ive ever seen

my day has been alright actually, it feels like I've been busy and productive but I haven't really, and I haven't done any interview prep either. Ah well - I'm going to smoke a big fat biffer, listen to some Belle & Sebastian and bollocks to everything else.

I won't come to the bash without cake, I promise.

I felt much better this morning ta, i'm not quite sure what that was all about yesterday as i genuinely felt quite deathly..

Death one minute, fine the next.
The JeffAIDS is a proper illness.
What cakes are you baking?
(, Sun 12 Dec 2010, 0:14, Reply)
I know you've asked me this. I'm making lemon drizzle and carrot cake. And I do feel ill still, but yesterday there was about 90 minutes where I was convinced I had meningitis - I felt really, genuinely dreadful.
(, Sun 12 Dec 2010, 0:16, Reply)
JeffAIDS is being properly ill.
What time are you heading West tomorrow?
(, Sun 12 Dec 2010, 0:20, Reply)
get down to Oxford to pick Amberl up, then I should be in Brizzle by 4pm latest I reckon.

What sort of time(s) are things happening tomorrow?
(, Sun 12 Dec 2010, 0:28, Reply)
boringly so. Calendar says 15:00 (I presume you know where), and since there are already loads of b3tans down for the wedding I would imagine a number of them will actually be in the pub at that time. What time do you reckon on making it?
(, Sun 12 Dec 2010, 0:31, Reply)
I'm off out on family meal, that, assuming I stay sober enough should see me in Bristol before 7pm.
I just wanted to understand (slightly) if people will still be around at that hour, and to gauge as to how drunk people are likely to be, seeing as I'll be on the sauce from half - eleven in the morning.
(, Sun 12 Dec 2010, 0:34, Reply)
I can't imagine they'll leave before closing time - bashed tend to be prolonged things. Did you get Blousies number? I'm sure she'll text you if by some miracle people have all buggered off by then. I shall be very cross if that is the case - I'll only have been there 3 hours!

I found a picture of my mum in the 80s recently. She had a crazy mentalist perm - and then I realised she was the same age then as I am now. Erk!

(, Sun 12 Dec 2010, 1:06, Reply)
(I was previously called Mullered)
Based on the gaz I got from Monty, this made him laugh enough for me to become 'Jeff'.

Mullered to Jeff did I make the change, so blame him.
Oddly, I'm likely to be found 'Mullered' more often than I am to be fucking a dog.

I don't really remember watching it, but I remember the theme. Trapdoor and Count Duckula were always my favourites.
EDIT - oh! and Dangermouse, obviously
(, Sun 12 Dec 2010, 1:57, Reply)
And then thundercats and teenage mutant ninja turtles when I got a bit older. And Inspector Gadget.

Don't remember supergran, the Wizbit theme I used to sing in the car on the way to nursery (bizarrely I still know the words, and had no idea until just now) Dogtanian I hated with a passion...
Edit- Ulysses I think I remember, 80 days around the world I don't.

Before I head off, what have you got against Zig and Zag?
Secondly, I'm sleepy.
