Oh yes.
How else could you explain four or five lurkers defending their hero any time he was criticised? Also, persistent non-believers were reported to the mods and actually got naughty-stepped/banned.

I've been a regular b3ta user for nearly six years now; given the behaviour of a few headcases who used to frequent /talk, I can easily believe someone would be that neurotic and egotistical online.
