I was watching the Swedish Wallanderand a suspect was a black guy, but they kept calling him "The negro" and there was real distaste everytime they mentioned "the negro". I bet they changed the tone for the English version, which is a shame because I would love to see Kenneth Brannagh say that he was looking for a darkie.
