No, it's Russian doll-shaped.
With a cute cover.

I'm ace at present buying, though. Sister, mum and dad all loved theirs. Went shopping for my friend's 21st present- it's a joint effort, but so far she's getting: Sobranie Cocktails (super-posh fags), Absolut Vodka, a baby rhinestone-studded bottle of Moet, silk knickers, a silver locket, posh chocolates, a Kath Kidson mug and some things from Ann Summers.
I'm jealous of her :(

I love books. Didn't get any this year.
Have been reading Beowulf. Have to write an essay on it. Contemplating moving to Denmark when my degree is over.

I had the Seamus Heaney translation of that, it was pretty cool
I didn't get any books this year, either, people never know what to get me, I think. Having worked in a bookshop, once, makes people assume I don't want books

It's motherfucking parallel translation.
I'm thinking of starting old English next year.

It's fun, trying to work out which words are which
I'm finding all the references to God a little disconcerting, though.
