That does look bloody good actually
but I can't see myself going to the cinema to see it, to be honest.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:22, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
why not berk?
explain yourself young lady.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:28, Reply)
I just don't
I go to the cinema for bubblegum and trash and occasionally action, not big impressive, important drama type stuff.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:30, Reply)
acceptable I suppose.
sweet or salted?
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:32, Reply)
Neither
cinema popcorn is rank. Butterkist all the way! (or chocolate buttons or pick n mix from tesco)
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:33, Reply)
again I kind of agree.
I do like nachos mind.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:34, Reply)
Do they still show the Kiora adverts at the cinema?
Or those crappy adverts for local carpet warehouses, that are just a single imagine, rather than a proper filmed advert?

And do you still get two films?
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:34, Reply)
It's too orangey for crows!
no they don't.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:41, Reply)
Shame.
I liked that ad. It was very catchy!

If there is only one film though, when are you supposed to buy your choc-ice?
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:43, Reply)
Before you get your tickets
smuggled in from tesco or the corner shop.

EDIT - specially for you Jeff: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LvLn9PWln8 I'd forgotten quite how racist it is!
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:45, Reply)
You've gotta see this berk

It is how I remember going to the cinema. I liked the fact that 'the seats on the right are non-smoking'.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:48, Reply)
Ahahaha they imbue that hotdog with considerably more promise than I reckon it ever delivered
this is hilariously retro. You're old :P
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:52, Reply)
You know I'm old.

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:53, Reply)
some of them I recognise
I think the last film I saw with an intermission was Ghostbusters 2
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:55, Reply)
You don't look your age
(or act it) I remember this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jG3m0YfVmk&feature=related
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:56, Reply)
Are you saying I look older?

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:58, Reply)
No, I was being nice for once.

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:59, Reply)
Clearly I've taken care of myself over the years
this might not be true
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:00, Reply)
Perhaps you are lightly pickled?
men age better than women do, anyway.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:02, Reply)
Women (in general) don't lose all their hair though.

(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:03, Reply)
No, but why is that a problem?
besides, nature does a number of horrendous things to middle aged women, hair loss really isn't that bad.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:05, Reply)
I've got enough hair for now anyway.
I'll cross the loss-of-hair-bridge as and when it turns up.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:07, Reply)
Very sensible
when I first started losing a lot of weight I lost loads of hair, and the more you worry about it, the worse it gets.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:09, Reply)
I'm just too lazy to get a proper hair-cut.

(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:15, Reply)
I would never have guessed...

(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:18, Reply)
Not being a bird
I don't need to worry too much.

Neither have I been in the market for a new lady, thus meaning i'm quite happy to allow myself go to seed.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:20, Reply)
I get my hair cut 3 times a year at most
so you probably get yours done more often than I do. And unfortunately men are incredibly shallow, so if I were to stop making even the small efforts that I do, I'd be even less likely to get any attention.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:23, Reply)
If you were feeling brave, would would you do to your hair?

(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:26, Reply)
I'd quite like to go short and spikey again
now that I'm thin enough to carry it off. But I like it being curly too much.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:31, Reply)
I'm gonna start a new thread.

(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:32, Reply)
As a very young child I remember cinema intermissions
but I'm clearly not as old as Jeff.

Um Bongo Um Bongo They Drink it in the Congo!
In between genocide and ethnic cleansing.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:49, Reply)

Way down deep in the middle of the Congo,
A hippo took an apricot, a guava and a mango.
He stuck it with the others, and he danced a dainty tango.
The rhino said, "I know, we'll call it Um Bongo"
Um Bongo, Um Bongo, They drink it in the Congo.
The python picked the passion fruit, the marmoset the mandarin.
The parrot painted packets, that the whole caboodle landed in.
So when it comes to sun and fun and goodness in the jungle,
They all prefer the sunny funny one they call um bongo!
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:52, Reply)
If I ever go to the cinema, it's for popcorn and hotdogs.
Who am I to judge though?
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:32, Reply)
Oh, shush you
that's not what I meant at all and you know it.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:33, Reply)
You'd have been more upset if I'd have said nothing.
