If I wasn't using a laptop, I would get 128gb SSD to run the OS and programs, and a few 1 or 2tb HDs for storage.
But I've not looked into figures or anything on this, so I'm not sure what sort of boost that would give me over a standard HD.

I don't have any problem with physical space so I'll probably get a SSD if I can get a good deal.
I think it's actually quite the performance boost, loading times etc.

the cost prohibits getting anything with any capacity unless you're proper minted and you'll only gain a few seconds, particularly as the thing that slows down Windows the most is all the crap it loads after the operating system and unless you're going to put all that crap on C: too, I don't really see the point.
I've seen some pretty impressive speed tests, but unless you're in the habit of opening every single program on your machine at the same time, I don't see how it'll be of any practical benefit.
Impressive technology, just not currently worth the money. Leave it to the people who buy 500 pound graphics cards for the moment.
