Hahaha!
I think if I was having an off day (ie, one that required pain meds) I'd be genuinely pleased if I didn't pass for a haggard druggie.

we have so many of them here, you're hard pressed to get any pain meds at all
the last time my back bothered me the doctor gave me tylenol and a script to get an xray

But tylenol looks to be just a bog standard painkiller
you need a script for that? You can buy em like sweeties over here, and stronger stuff too, without a prescription.
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 19:51, Reply)
it was prescription strength, which means diddlysquat
because it didn't work at all

Do you have to pay for them as well?

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 20:19, Reply)
well yes
I didn't go in for the xray though because I don't have insurance, plus I quite clearly wasn't broken anywhere, just in pain
it went away on its own, thankfully

How much do they charge for things like x-rays and pills?

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 20:25, Reply)
about 20 for the pills, probably a couple hundred for the x-ray

Jesus.
And some people are opposed to health care reform?
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 20:47, Reply)
If you were in the UK
I would recommend you go to my chiropractor.

I prefer a masseuse
