i managed to get two blisterlines across my fingers oncewhen I was pulling a tray out of the oven at work and it slipped and I tried to catch it....

a week or so? I still have a triangle faded burn mark on the back of my hand from a similar incident 9 years ago though :((

I once managed to pick up a hot iron from the wrong side.That was fucking agony.
