Well if they said they were cool about itthen they must know that sometimes you'll be off at short notice, and they're cool with it. If you crave reassurance (and I totally understand it if you do) then just have a word with your manager again. At least then you're giving them opportunity to raise any worries they might have as well. And if they don't, then I guess they really don't mind.
Like I say, if you get the job done, why would they?

I think I will have a few words when I know what the gastro people say.Yeh', the work all gets done, and it's not like a customer facing roll where there is no way of working from home... and I smash most of my deadlines, which is cool too.
