my experience of the electric ones is that they were much weaker and therefore less accuratemight just have been a cheapy one though

These guns start at 100 quid minimum usuallyI had a spring Glock 17 (same model as used in the Arizona shootings, fact fans) that also hurt like hell if you got hit by it, but it's range wasn't too hot.

My electric MP5 fires at about 315fps.That'll give you a hickey if it hits exposed skin, take out a tooth at close range if you're unlucky. A friend has a spring powered rifle that fires at about 430fps but he's not allowed to shoot it at anyone closer than 10 metres.
