You're bloody lucky then.
Unmitigated shite that it is. A street populated by 'strong, feisty non nonsense wimmin' and blokes who are either effete, hapless and slightly in touch with their feminine sides (but not enough to be considered as strong and feisty and no nonsense), or utter bastards.

Utter fucking wank.

It's what gay men think 'ordinary life' is about.
And not a darkie in sight, either.

This reminds me of an episode I saw of QAF
when all the gay men are in the straight pub and wondering if this is what real life is like

I also find it quite incredible
that a programme which was created by a raving bumder, has a massive following of the Crow persuasion, and of which a significant proportion of writers were also good with colours, took over 35 years to actually introduce a character who's sexual preferences were, quite frankly, horrifically perverse to you and me but which, nevertheless in an enlightened world, should be afforded some publicity in a modern drama serial.

I've never seen any Coronation Street
Having grown up in a house without television. I assume you're talking about the well-know 'Corrie' character Scotty McWeeber who was a scat-fetishist with tendencies towards furrie-bukkake?

I don't know the names.
I just got a general gist of some storylines due to working in offices with an off-kilter woman to man employment ratio.

"Eeh, that new lad in Corrie's a poof, ye knaa"

I made Scotty McWeeber up :(*
*I sincerely hope anyway
