Joking aside, there does seem to be a world of difference between the early and mid 20s
I'm currently in a band with two 21-year old guitarists and a 19-year old drummer. They're nice guys and all but I do feel like I'm playing with a bunch of kids sometimes. _{...and that wasn't meant to sound quite as incriminiating as it now does...}
