I suppose I'd better ask if it was a flirty text first though, saying 'a girl I like has texted me' isn't quite the same if that text was 'please leave me alone/I'm not wearing that puppy fancy dress costume/I'm your new social worker' etc.

This is not entirely true
I have surprised myself by having three, count them, a whole THREE people having a very fleeting interest in me in the past few months. For me, that's a lot, and it all seems to have gone quiet again now. *shrugs*
